This course covers getting to know and appreciate your camera, understanding good photography and how it can be applied to your sublimation business. Subject matter includes the advantages of manual vs. automatic photography; Explanation of manual controls, lenses, F-Stops, aperture, the “Law of Reciprocity” and depth of field. Suggested material needed by the participants: Manually controlled DSLR camera.
This course is a continuation of the topics covered in Photography 101, and further explores lighting techniques with examples for effectively photographing your products using light tents, build a homemade lightbox, simple do-it-yourself lights and light ratio control and how to photographically present yourself and others properly as an extension of your product.
Suggested material needed by the participants: Manually controlled DSLR camera.
